Jill King joined Poppert & Co. in October of 2022. She provides operational and administrative support to the team.
Jill began her career while still in college, working full time within the sales and marketing department at Independence Blue Cross in Philadelphia. During her five year tenure at Blue Cross, she consistently led her sales team in overall new business growth. Jill left IBC to take a pharmaceutical sales position with Schering-Plough in their complex product segment of lipid reduction and statin medications.
After four years with Schering Plough, Jill joined her husband’s firm, EffectiV Internet Solutions, where she oversaw the firm’s marketing efforts. While at EffectiV she led an effort to streamline the firm’s billing process by implementing web-based software and semi-automating much of the time consuming manual tasks.
Jill attended Penn State University, and graduated with a BS in Marketing from Holy Family University. She lives in Fort Washington with her husband and two children.
